Open Thread: Rudy Gay, one of three with 14,000 points, 4000 rebounds, and 1000 steals

Not to be outdone by DeMar DeRozan, Rudy joins an elite trio.

You may recall yesterday I posted that DeMar DeRozan is one of three active players to average 24/6/6. Well, not to be outdone, Rudy Gay has joined an elite trio of sorts:

Of course, LeBron James is one of the three. There is a nary a record that doesn’t have the James stamp. In addition, Westbrook and James are both former NBA MVP award recipients.

Gay, James, and Westbrook are the only active players who have amassed 14,000 points, 4,000 rebounds, and 1,000 steals since 2006. Pretty impressive numbers. And considering how much time Gay spent out with injuries, he’s reached this point with less minutes clocked than his counterparts.
