The Aussie is, was, and will always be a sharp-shooter.
Patty Mills now has 673 career three-pointers off the bench, moving into #14 all-time and passing Ben Gordon’s 672.

I love the arbitrary stats, like “off the bench.” Ben Gordon has 1171 3-point baskets in his career and that’s good enough for 67th all time. But someone has gone to the trouble to figure out which of Gordon’s happened when he was coming off the bench (672) and which from games he started (499). His bench stat is more impressive as 14th looks better than 67th.
In the all-time category, Patty has 790 total 3s which id good for a three-way tie at 167th.
As long as Patty keeps hitting his deep shots, I’m good. Along with Rudy Gay leading the league in 3-point shoot percentage, Davis Bertans making deeps 3s look easy, and Marco Belinilli (a former 3-point champion) coming into form, the Spurs can begin to alter into a modern 3-point shooting team.
