What to expect from the Spurs in the Las Vegas Summer League

Taking stock of the summer Spurs Summer League performance

After completing their first three games of the summer in Salt Lake City, the Spurs have moved on to Las Vegas. With four games over the next 6 days, and a potential tournament at the end if they play well enough, it’s a good time to take a look back at what the summer Spurs have showed thus far with an eye towards how that might impact their games this week.

From Lonnie Walker IV’s silky pull-up jumper to Keldon Johnson’s 29 points on 4 dribbles and Drew Eubanks’ lefty hook, each of the Spurs’ three games at Vivant Arena exposed a different collection of strengths (and weaknesses) up and down the roster. With limited time to practice or learn to play together, Summer League games are often disjointed affairs, but they provide a good window to assess individual skills and check in on the progress of a team’s newest assets.

The Spurs’ first three games of the summer were just that. Take a look.
