Wash Tub offering first responders free car washes until end of year

First responders can grab a free car wash at any Wash Tub location until the end of the year.

The car wash company announced the news on its Facebook page last week, writing the gesture is a way it is saying “thank you” to the healthcare professionals and police and fire departments fighting on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“You have taken care of us, now is our time to take care of you,” the Wash Tub wrote.

The full-service car wash includes a complete interior vacuum, soft cloth wash, towel dry, wipe-down of dash and console and all windows cleaned inside-and-out. The cost of this service is usually $20, according to a spokesperson for the Wash Tub.

A valid employee ID is needed to redeem the free car wash offer, according to the post. All locations in San Antonio, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Round Rock, Georgetown, Leon Springs and Kerrville are offering the service.

“We look forward to serving you,” the Wash Tub ended its post. “Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!”
