Man struck by a vehicle following altercation on the South Side, suspects at large

San Antonio police are searching for multiple individuals they say were in a vehicle that intentionally struck a man following an altercation on the South Side Saturday night.

Officers say the victim and four other individuals were arguing in the parking lot of a gas station near Pleasanton Road and East Vestal Place about 11 p.m. when the victim broke free from the incident and ran. The four individuals then got into a vehicle and chased after the victim, according to police at the scene.

The victim was then struck by the vehicle near a Fred’s Fish Fry. He was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

The suspects remain at large.
