H-E-B recalls soup due to possible broken glass contamination
On Wednesday, November 23, Fischer and Wieser Specialty Foods recalled all 31.4-ounce jars of H-E-B Creamy Tomato Basil Soup due to the possibility of broken glass in the product. The recall went into effect after a customer notified the supplier that the soup contained a piece of glass. No injuries have been reported, and all items have been removed from shelves at all H-E-B locations.
However, if you have an unopened jar resting in your pantry, it is advised that you do not consume the product.
Customers can identify the product by UPC number 4122070619 and best by date November 14, 2022. Those who have purchased the soup can return it to any H-E-B store for a full refund.
