Chargers’ Ladd McConkey Tells Doubters to ‘Get Out of Here’
The Los Angeles Chargers just found themselves in a deeper hole after yet another loss to stay winless in the 2026 NFL season.
On Sunday, Ladd McConkey and the Bolts suffered a 24-16 loss at the hands of Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.
It actually started well for Los Angeles in the Buffalo game, as the Chargers scored the first 10 points of the contest, but Buffalo responded before halftime to tie the score at 10-10 after two quarters.
The Bolts grabbed the lead again with a field goal with 6:12 remaining in the third period, but Buffalo scored two rushing touchdowns from Allen and James Cook III to put Buffalo ahead for good. Los Angeles scored a field goal with 1:56 left in regulation, but that was too little and too late for the Chargers to avoid falling into a 0-3 hole to start the season.
Chargers Wide Receiver McConkey is Not Losing Confidence in His Team
Despite the difficult situation of Los Angeles, McConkey remains confident that the Bolts will find a way to turn things around, as he sent a stern message to anyone who doubts his team’s ability to do so.
“If you don’t think this can be turned around, then get out of here,” McConkey said in a postgame interview (via Sports Central LA).
“We got the people to do it, we got all we need. We just gotta go execute,” added the former Georgia Bulldogs star wide receiver, who finished the contest with 66 receiving yards on four catches and five targets.
The Chargers kicked off their season with an upset loss to the Arizona Cardinals, 26-14, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. They lost to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2, 26-14, also at home.
Los Angeles will next take on the reigning Super Bowl champions Seattle Seahawks in Week 4 at Lumen Field in Seattle.
