Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

Welcome to the game thread. The Spurs trip to Oklahoma City didn’t go as planned, but a split against the Thunder isn’t bad. Tonight the Silver and Black take on the Hornets from Charlotte, whose best player is Kemba Walker. But the player who everyone will be watching and cheering for is his backup, Tony Parker, who might be familiar to some of you. Let’s all give him a warm welcome, so long as it’s not so warm that the Hornets have a reasonable chance at winning a game. Hopefully, LaMarcus Aldridge, Derrick White and DeMar DeRozan can build a big lead and the bench players can get a long run tonight. Go Spurs GO!
