The University of Texas at San Antonio announced they will begin offering COVID-19 vaccine appointments on-campus for students, faculty and staff, according to the university’s Twitter page.

The COVID-19 vaccine appointments will be available on-campus this week and the next week with UTSA advising the Roadrunner community to check their email from the UTSA Recovery Operations sent April 12 for details, according to their website.

The Roadrunner website advises everyone on campus to participate in vaccinations, but notes they are not requiring anyone to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Getting vaccinated is an important step you can take to protect your health and the health of your family, friends and loved ones. The vaccines are safe, effective and side effects are generally mild and only last a few days,” stated under their COVID-19 vaccine information site.
