United v LASK: Everything you need to know

WHO MIGHT WE FACE IF WE WIN?

Should United progress to the quarter-finals in Germany, we would face either Istanbul Basaksehir or FC Copenhagen in a single-legged quarter-final. The pair face off in the Danish capital ahead of our game on Wednesday, with recently crowned Turkish champions Basaksehir carrying a slender 1-0 lead into the match after the first leg.

Two other British teams are still in the competition in the form of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Rangers. Both will play their respective matches on Thursday evening, with Wolves currently tied 1-1 with Olympiacos – who they host at Molineux. Meanwhile, Steve Gerrard’s side have an uphill battle as they travel to Bayer Leverkusen trailing 3-1. Following the draw, the Reds know we could potentially face Wolves in the semi-finals, while we wouldn’t come across Rangers until the final, should both sides get there.
