Mason wins his first Player of the Month award!

Greenwood’s progression throughout 2019/20 has been a major source of delight for United fans, and his form has soared since the Premier League resumed after the pause enforced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
July was his best month yet in the league, bringing four of his 10 goals in the competition. Mason has looked stronger, fitter and even more deadly than usual, firing home a sublime double against Bournemouth and then two almost identical bullet-like finishes against Aston Villa and West Ham, respectively.
The two goals against the Cherries summed up Greenwood’s near-freakish ability with either foot. The first was thrashed emphatically through the grasp of the southerners’ goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale with the left boot; the second fired across Ramsdale and into the top corner with the right foot from a pretty unfavourable position. More importantly, both efforts came when the Reds really needed them.
