Todd Bowles Has Stern, Indirect Message For Devin White
Bucs inside linebacker Devin White has yet to appear for any voluntary workouts at the team’s AdventHealth Training Center this offseason. The big question is whether he’ll show up for Tampa Bay’s mandatory mini-camp next week or will the fifth-year linebacker be a no-show?
When asked if he expects White to be at the team’s mini-camp, Bucs head coach Todd Bowles delivered a simple and stern message aimed at the linebacker without naming White directly.
“It’s mandatory – I expect everybody to be here,” Bowles said.
If White is a no-show next week he is subject to be fined per the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement. And then the question of whether White’s holdout will continue through training camp will be raised.
