Ricky Pearsall won’t be able to wear number one for the San Francisco 49ers in his rookie season, as that is already claimed by Deebo Samuel, so their first-round pick is instead set to don a jersey number synonymous with a franchise great and Pro Football Hall of Famer, at least for rookie minicamp.
