The NBA Store releases official San Antonio Spurs face coverings

Spurs fans can stay safe in style while supporting a good cause

Starting Monday, most San Antonio residents will be required to wear a face mask to go out in public or risk the possibility of a $1,000 fine. Though scarfs, bandannas or handkerchiefs will suffice under the addendum, Spurs fans can now assist in stopping the spread of COVID-19 in their communities by purchasing a Spurs-themed face mask.

Yesterday the NBA Store released official branded face coverings for all 42 NBA and WNBA franchises following the CDC’s recommendation to wear such protection in public settings. Not only will the Silver and Black faithful be able to sport their team while staying safe and responsible, but 100% of proceeds are going to Feeding America in the U.S. and Second Harvest in Canada.

According to the product details, the masks are made of 3-ply cotton and have an additional premium heavyweight middle insert layer for added security. This product is available in adult and youth sizes and ranges in price from 14.99 for an individual mask or $24.99 for a pack of three.

Manufacturers Industry Rag and FOCO will also make donations to benefit the aforementioned charitable organizations. Industry Rag will donate one face covering for every one purchased to Feeding America and Second Harvest in Canada, and FOCO will make an additional donation to support each other’s efforts.
