The latest on Thiago’s injury ahead of Liverpool vs Norwich
An update on Liverpool midfielder Thiago has emerged on Monday.
The Spaniard was set to face off with Chelsea in the 2022 League Cup final on Sunday and was named in the Reds’ midfield along with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.
However, less than half an hour before the game started, Thiago was pulled from the squad due to injury and replaced by Naby Keita:

Luckily for Liverpool, they were still able to come away with the win vs Chelsea without the Spaniard. But with some huge games on the horizon for the Reds, Liverpool will no doubt be praying that his injury is nothing serious.
Now, as per David Maddock of the Mirror, Thiago will have a scan this afternoon, to discover the extent of the hamstring injury he picked up on Sunday.
It is added that Liverpool are hoping for nothing more than mild strain (grade 1) which would be 1-2 weeks out:

Liverpool vs Norwich
Liverpool’s next outing will see them face off with Norwich City on Wednesday.
The clash is an FA Cup tie as the Reds aim to clinch their second domestic trophy of the campaign after their recent League Cup triumph.
It is expected that Jurgen Klopp will make changes for the game as they have just played a final over 120 minutes and have a tough test against West Ham later in the week.
However, even a much-changed Liverpool will still likely have a decent chance of seeing off Norwich.
Dean Smith’s side are bottom of the Premier League table and have scored a dismal 15 goals in 26 outings this term – the lowest in the division by some distance.
