‘I want to make history here’ Arsenal target dismisses exit rumours

Rumoured Arsenal target Rafael Leao has seemingly ended speculation around his future, claiming that he is in fact happy to stay at AC Milan for a long time.

The Brazilian has caught the eye while playing in red and black this season, with the 22 year old having scored 8 times in 23 Serie A outings for Milan, helping them to second place in Italy in the process.

And it was thought that he may be set for pastures new in the summer, with just two years left on his contract in northern Italy by the end of this season.

However, in an interview with DAZN, Leao revealed that contract talks were still ongoing to extend his stay in Milan- ‘my lawyers are already in direct contact with the club’. he told the media outlet.

Moreover, he spoke of his happiness at the club and his desire to remain at San Siro, saying ‘I’m happy with AC Milan and I want to make history here. I’m really loving my life with this club since three years’.

Noa Lang a more feasible alternative?

This news will surely force Arsenal to look elsewhere as they seek to bolster their frontline this summer with a whole range of targets

One of those is exciting Club Brugge winger Noa Lang, who has been dubbed the new Neymar.

The Dutchman revealed in January that he is almost certain to leave Brugge this summer. At an awards evening, Lang claimed:

‘I’m going to be very honest. Chances are I’ll be leaving next summer.’

Arsenal could yet be his landing spot.
