‘That Doesn’t Sound Good’ ‘He Is Not Coming’ City Fans Worried Following Comments From Haaland’s Agent
Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola has made it clear that he is not on speaking terms with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
The pair fell out over Guardiola’s treatment of Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the Swedish international’s brief spell at Barcelona and Raiola says the relationship has not been repaired:
“As for Mr Guardiola, I’ve closed the book already a long time ago. Everybody knows what I think of him personally and he can say what he thinks for me personally.”
Unsurprisingly, the comments have left many City supporters concerned that they may miss out on Haaland to other clubs, due to the antipathy between the two men:

The only problem now is Raiola

Haaland is a brilliant striker, but doing business with Mino is a no go, he gets involved to much, gets into players heads and causes nothing but drama. Spend the money somewhere else

The situation is probably not as clear cut as some make out though. Haaland’s affairs are also handled by his father, Alf Inge, who obviously has close connections to the Citizens.
City are likely hoping that their strong relationship with his Dad will lead to Haaland picking them over Chelsea or Manchester United. However, you can’t rule out Raiola putting a spanner in the works. The Dutchman reportedly steered the striker towards signing for Borussia Dortmund as they were the only team to agree to a release clause, so this could be a very complicated transfer to complete.
