Police did not divulge details on how the the accident occurred but said a Chevy Tahoe was the first car to crash just before 11:30 p.m. on the main lanes of Loop 410 near the Callaghan exit.

Several people were treated on the scene, including two small children, though no serious injuries were reported.
Police did not say how many cars were involved in the street racing.
