According to police, a man died after he was hit by a pick-up truck trying to walk across the street Friday night.
The incident occurred around 9:46 p.m. on Friday night near SW Military and Five Palms.
Officials say the man in the pick-up truck was traveling eastbound on SW Military when he hit the pedestrian and then stopped to render aid.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver was not charged.
