An 11-year-old boy was seriously injured after being shot Saturday morning on the East Side, according to SAPD.
Police say, the boy was shot while at a home on 200 Nelson Avenue around 10:30 p.m.
According to SAPD, other people were at the home when they said they heard shots fired. They went into the living room where they found the boy.
Officials say, it is still unknown where the shots came from.
The boy was transported in serious condition to San Antonio Military Medical Center.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
