San Antonio police are searching for a shooter who fled a Westside Walmart after shooting two people on their way out of the store on Thursday, April 5. The San Antonio Police Department responded to a shooting call at the Walmart at 8923 W Military Drive around 2 p.m., and found a woman with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her “lower extremities,” said Sergeant Washington Moscoso.

Officers later found a second person injured from the shooting in the area, Moscoso said. They also had a non-life threatening injury. The Walmart evacuated employees and customers and was closed as of 3:30 p.m. on Thursday with plans to open later that day.
