Ryanair passengers faint on 100-degree plane from hell stranded on tarmac: video

Desperate passengers on a Ryanair flight to Italy were left stranded on the tarmac with no air conditioning in over 100-degree heat this week – leading some would-be travelers to pass out from the horrific conditions.

A Ryanair flight from Málaga, Spain to Milan scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday was delayed on the runway by 10 hours while the local temperatures soared to about 107 degrees Fahrenheit, the Daily Mirror reported.

Footage on TikTok posted by influencer Marco Ferrero shows the chaos on board as sweat-soaked passengers scrambled for relief on the AC-less jet for three hours before finally being released.

Passengers fanned themselves fruitlessly with magazines, hats, and other spare items while the equally sweltering flight crew struggled to keep everyone calm.

Clips from later in the day show some paying customers receiving treatment from first responders on the tarmac after apparently fainting from the heat.

Ferrero, who boasts over 400,000 followers on the video-sharing app, captioned the upsetting footage “il peggior volo della mia vita,” or “worst flight of my life.”

“Thanks for the awful experience @Ryanair,” he wrote, calling out the low-cost airline by name.

“At one point I seriously thought that I could no longer breathe and that something was happening to me,” Ferrero told the camera during a speaking portion of the video, per the Mirror.

He noted that it was difficult to get to the toilet because the aisles were  “clogged with people (having) panic attacks.”

Ryanair, he claimed, treated the problem like “a joke” and “didn’t give us any kind of assistance except for a $4.45 bonus after four hours of waiting.”

“[It] was like being inside a sauna but with the door locked,” Ferrero lamented.

The flight finally departed for Milan at 10 p.m. local time – 10 hours after it was originally scheduled to leave.

“This flight from Malaga to Milan (19 July) was delayed due to a minor technical issue with the aircraft. To avoid missing the flight’s take-off slot, passengers remained onboard while engineers serviced the aircraft,” a Ryanair spokesperson told The Post via email.

“Unfortunately, the aircraft was not cleared for service in time and missed the slot and passengers were disembarked,” they continued.

“As Malaga Airport’s air conditioning was not working at the allocated stand for this flight, the crew requested to reposition at another stand where air conditioning was working, and cooled the plane before re-boarding passengers. Once re-boarded, passengers were provided with water and departed safely for Milan 10 minutes later.”

The spokesperson denied that passengers were given a $4.45 “bonus,” but did say that each ticket holder was offered “two refreshment vouchers each to purchase refreshments while they waited in the airport.”

Ivano Giacomelli, of Italy’s Codici Consumers Association, demanded a better explanation.

“We will ask Ryanair to account for what happened because what happened cannot be filed away as a simple unexpected event,” he scoffed to the Italian media.

“We are referring not only to the delay, but also to the treatment of the passengers, locked up for hours in an airplane with scorching temperatures between fainting spells and panic attacks.

“We demand answers from Ryanair and also rapid and concrete interventions to compensate those who have experienced this mishap.”
