Revolution II extend unbeaten run to 11 straight, defeat Huntsville FC for 3-0
FOXBOROUGH, MA— The New England Revolution II (14-5-7, 54 pts.) defeated Huntsville FC (9-10-6, 37 pts). in a 3-0 match on Friday afternoon.
The match kicked off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

After a shot by Jordan Adebayo-Smith, the ball found Jack Panayotou for a left-footed volley that was initially saved by #1 John Berner. The ball then scribbled out to forward Malcolm Fry, who smashed it home from close range for the 1-0 advantage. The goal is Fry’s 4th of the season.
Huntsville FC’s first moment of the match came in the 27th minute when defender #13 Joey Skinner’s cross was met by the head of midfielder #19 Joshua Drack, but the ball was too high and went over the crossbar.

Following a combination play between the Revolution II defenders, the ball found forward Joshua Bolma, who sent in a left-footed delivery that was met by the foot of Huntsville FC defender #25 Fernando Cicéron, who accidentally slotted it into his own net.
In the 51st minute, Revolution II defender Santiago Suarez was issued a yellow card for a harsh foul on Huntsville FC midfielder #11 Azaad Liadi.
In the 59th minute, Revolution head coach Clint Peay made his first two changes of the match by replacing forward Malcolm Fry and midfielder Marcos Dias and replacing them with forward Olger Escobar and midfielder Jake Rozhansky.
Entering the 63rd minute, Huntsville had yet another chance to score when midfielder #19 Joshua Drack’s close range effort was saved in the center of the goal by goalkeeper Max Weinstein.

Revolution II midfielder Jake Rozhansky was taken down in the box by Huntsville FC defender #25 Fernando Cicéron. Following the foul, Revolution first-team midfielder Jack Panayotou stepped up to take the penalty kick and slotted it home past #1 John Berner to extend the lead to 3. This is Panayotou’s 5th goal this season for the Revolution II.
Following the penalty kick, Revolution head coach Clint Peay made his third and fourth changes of the match by replacing defender Santiago Suarez and midfielder Noble Okello and replacing them with defender Italo and midfielder Patrick Leal.
In the 77th minute, Revolution head coach Clint Peay made his fifth and final change of the match by replacing defender Colby Quinones with defender Jakob Akanyirige.
In the 80th minute, Revolution II forward Olger Escobar was issued a yellow card for a harsh foul on Huntsville midfielder #6 Joey DeZart II.
Huntsville didn’t give up early as in the 82nd and 84th minute, both midfielder #6 Joey DeZart II and forward #9 Shuan Joash both had two chances, but both ended up falling short.
In the 92nd minute, Revolution II midfielder Patrick Leal was issued a yellow card for time wasting.
