Report: Jacksonville Jaguars Plan To Use Franchise Tag On Former First-Round Pick
The Jacksonville Jaguars plan to keep an important piece of the offense as they build their roster for next season. The Jaguars won a weak AFC South division in 2022 and parlayed their late-season winter winning streak into getting second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence his first playoff win. The team will look to improve on that success next season.
To do that, the Jaguars want to keep a top target for Lawrence on the offense. According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, the Jaguars expect to apply the franchise tag to tight end Even Engram.
