Ravens listed as favorite to land All-Pro CB

The Ravens don’t have a lot of capital heading into the 2023 NFL Draft, holding just five picks. But they may just give their best Rams impression and go all in on a three-time First-Team All-Pro cornerback.

NFL.com Adam Schein lists Baltimore as one of his favorite landing spots for CB Jalen Ramsey. Los Angeles is likely to trade him and Ramsey “plays like a Raven,” according to Schein.

First and foremost, the Ravens will need to decide what their plans are with QB Lamar Jackson as he may not leave enough money for the addition of Ramsey. But if there is any way Baltimore can have both, it will be a scary team to face in 2023.

Ramsey is still only 28-years-old and has eight interceptions, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries over the last two seasons.

The Ravens currently hold picks 22, 86, 124, 150 and 199. It’s likely they would have to deal at least No. 22 for Ramsey. But if the team is planning to draft a cornerback at that position, why not make the deal for a guaranteed player?

Baltimore may also lose CB Marcus Peters as he is an impending free agent this offseason. If the Ravens can pair Ramsey and CB Marlon Humphrey, they’d have arguably the best cornerback duo in the league.
