Raiders 2021 NFL Draft: 3 Enticing Second-Round Options

After shocking the NFL Draft world by selecting Alex Leatherwood in the first round, the Raiders will have three picks on Day 2. With plenty of talent still on the board, here are a few options for the team’s brass.

Who should the Raiders target on Day 2 of the draft?

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is of the most surprising players still available and the Raiders may have to trade up to acquire him. Then again, it would be well worth it. Even though they did resign Nicholas Morrow, Las Vegas does not have a flexible player on defense like the Notre Dame product. He would give Gus Bradley a player he could use similarly to Derwin James.

The best safety available

No safeties were selected in the first round, and the position is still a pressing need for the Raiders. They could get a good one in the second round. Trevon Moehrig and Richie Grant are available, and Las Vegas could nab one of them to hold down the back end. Although taking Leatherwood 17th overall may’ve been a reach, there’s still time to add a few playmakers.
