Open Thread: Reflections from Game 2 of the NBA Finals

A series of strange occurrences have left the series tied 1-1

The NBA Finals as seen through the eyes of Federico Fellini. The Warriors are already missing Kevin Durant. Through the course of this game Andre Iguodala, Kevon Looney, and Klay Thompson each had to head back for injury-related concerns. And what in the world is going on with Stephen Curry?

DeMarcus Cousins, who sat out for 45 days over a quad injury, not only started but played significant minutes.

The Warriors started the second half with an 18-0 that left the Raptors playing catch-up form behind.

Kyle Lowery fouled out. Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol spent time in foul trouble.

This series quite possibly will come down to fouls and bad calls.

What are your takeaways from last night’s game? Can Toronto steal a game in Oakland? Is this series about to go into the Warrior’s normal postseason overdrive? Or will injury be a factor to the record established at Oracle?

Is Kawhi Leonard still capable of taking over and leading the Raptors to victory?
