Open Thread: NBA All-Star starting squads announced
The NBA All-Star starting five for each conference, voted in by the fans, have been announced. The Western Conference will be represented by Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, and Nikola Jokic.
The Eastern Conference has Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Joel Embiid.
Top vote earners James and Durant will serve as team captains creating Team LeBron vs. Team Durant. The stars will draft the rosters from the pool of players voted as starters and reserves in each conference. TNT will air the 2021 NBA All-Star Draft on Thursday, March 4 at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
