Take a day to enjoy the little things in life.

I want to take a moment to wish you all a safe and happy holiday. May your day be filled with joy and peace.

It’s been a rough going lately, but there have been silver linings.

For now, we still have Gregg Popovich on the sideline, and this season he is flanked by Tim Duncan. These are the only two people to be directly involved with all five Spurs NBA Championships.

In addition, the Spurs have added Tony Parker’s number next two Manu Ginobili’s and Duncan’s, the winningest and truest Big 3 of all time, considering all three were drafted by the Spurs Organization.

As Spurs fans, we’ve been through a lot this season thus far, but today is not the day to focus on the last two months, but rather the last forty-six years.

The Spurs have a bevy of participants who have made the team what it is today. James Silas, George Gervin, Johnny Moore, and Sean Elliott all hang in the rafters for their greatness while wearing the silver & black.

But add the Bruise Brothers, Malik Rose, Matt Bonner, and even Lonnie Walker IV to the list of players who have become fan favorites and live in the heart of this San Antonio team.

And no one could deny that David Robinson is The Admiral. He gave this ship direction and anchored a culture that has become the cornerstone of the achievement in organized sports. Without his leadership, dignity, spirit, dedication, honor, and heart, the Spurs may not have transitioned into the new millennium with such grace.

Who are your favorite all time Spurs, whether it be a legend or just that player who speaks to you? What are your favorite Spurs memories?

Let’s all share some positive vibes on this day let tomorrow take care of itself.

Merry Christmas, Pounders.
