Open thread: Damian Lillard to DeMar DeRozan: “It’s a dirty game.”
Good to see some respect and support from his colleagues
Damian Lillard posted a photo of he and DeMar DeRozan on his Instagram account yesterday with the line “It’s a dirty game.” The Portland point guard was most likely showing support for his fellow competitor in the wake of his surprise trade to the San Antonio Spurs last month.
But not everyone is feeling sorry for DeRozan. NHL Oiler Milan Lucic posted:
Annnddd here we go Spurs fans…
“He’s being like a little bitter b****!” – NHL’s Milan Lucic on Spurs’ DeMar DeRozan’s handling of trade to Spurs.

I’m sure there’s no love lost between Lucic and DeRozan, but it is great to see a little unity among the NBA players given the Twitter battles going on between Tristan Thompson and “champion” Draymond Green:
Tristan Thompson reportedly punched Draymond Green at a post ESPYs party earlier in the month. I wonder why? https://t.co/aHbT4kozGD
