Micah Parsons Has Honest Admission About Cowboys Loss

The Dallas Cowboys finished the season on a very low note.

They had some ups and downs throughout the campaign, but that humiliating beatdown to the already-eliminated Washington Commanders was unacceptable.

Not only did Dak Prescott look terrible for most of the game, but their defense couldn’t get a stop against Sam Howell getting his first taste of NFL action.

That’s why star LB Micah Parsons wants the players to take a deep look in the mirror and think about how much this means to them:

“Everybody should look at themselves in the mirror and say, ‘what do we really want? What are we really doing this for?’ If people are doing this for stats, pro bowls, whatever that is, then might as well just hang it up now,” Parsons said. “Like I’m playing this for the long run. I’m not gonna be young forever. I already realize that. I wanna win while I’ve got this chance, this opportunity. I’m gonna look at myself in the mirror, everybody’s gonna look at their self in the mirror, and say ‘what do we really want out of this? Do we really want to go far?’ Because these types of performances just can’t happen.”

As solid as the Cowboys were for most of the year, some still doubt they can compete at the highest level in the playoffs.

They’re in for a date with the 8-9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a rival they could and should beat, all things considered.

But will they want it badly enough? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
