Manu hits a milestone with another magnificent night

The Argentine becomes the second 40-year-old in league history.

Manu Ginobili scored 21 points coming off the bench tonight in the Spurs’ win against the Phoenix Suns. That makes him the 2nd 40-year-old player in NBA history to score over 20 points coming off the bench. Who was the first you might ask? Vince Carter 10 days ago against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Manu’s 21 points came from 70% shooting: 4 of 6 from inside, 3 of 4 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 4 of 4 from the charity stripe.

Ginobili rounded out his night playing just under 20 minutes with 3 assists, 1 rebound, 1 block and 2 steals (3 if he hadn’t been called for the foul).
