Manchester United Make €40m Bid for Inter Milan Goalkeeper Andre Onana

Manchester United has reportedly made their opening offer for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, signaling their intent to secure the services of the talented shot-stopper.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Red Devils have presented a bid worth €40m, supplemented by an additional €5m in bonuses, in an attempt to entice the Serie A side.

Manchester United’s Pursuit of Andre Onana

With uncertainties surrounding the future of their current goalkeeper David de Gea, Manchester United has turned their attention to signing Andre Onana from Inter Milan.

Manager Erik ten Hag, who previously worked with Onana during their successful stint at Ajax, is keen on reuniting with the talented shot-stopper.

Reports indicate that Manchester United has identified Onana as their primary target and has made a substantial bid to acquire his services.

Inter Milan’s Response and Negotiations

Inter Milan, however, appears reluctant to accept Manchester United’s initial offer for their goalkeeper.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly seeking a guaranteed transfer fee of €50m, with the potential for achievable add-ons that could elevate the overall cost to €60m.

Negotiations between the two clubs will continue in an effort to find a compromise that satisfies both parties. Manchester United, with their desire to secure a modern goalkeeper, and Inter Milan, with their need for financial stability, are motivated to reach a resolution.
