Man dies after shooting near Confluence Park
A man was fatally shot in a South Side neighborhood Friday afternoon near Confluence Park, San Antonio police said.
The shooting was reported at about 5:30 p.m. in the 300 block of West Mitchell.
Police found a man, who was not identified, with a gunshot wound in the eastbound lanes of Mitchell.
He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center where he later died.
Investigators spoke with several witnesses, but police did not indicate what led to the shooting.
