Man, 24, killed in botched drug deal at East Bexar County home
A man was killed in a drug deal gone bad Tuesday night at a home in East Bexar County, deputies said.
Joshua Fowler, 24, was reportedly visiting a home at about 11 p.m. near the 6800 block of East Loop 1604 when an argument occurred and someone pulled out a weapon, investigators said.
Sheriff Javier Salazar said Fowler was shot in his side and taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at about 11:30 p.m.
Several witnesses were detained, but investigators are still working to determine who killed Fowler. Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the sheriff’s office at (210) 335-6070 or email them at [email protected].
