The Spurs play one more game tonight in Vegas before the 2019 Summer League Spurs disband
Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.
The Spurs weren’t among the top 8 teams in Summer League, so they won’t get to take part in the championship tournament. However, they still have one more game, a consolation contest against the Summer Hawks. This might be the last time to see some of these players in a Spurs uniform, so it might be fun to see guys like Josh Magette and Jeff Ledbetter try to showcase their talents for a training camp invite or overseas offer.
No news yet on whether Lonnie Walker IV will play, but Luka Samanic, Keldon Johnson, and Quinndary Weatherspoon should be active tonight and they should get some more run before they finally leave Las Vegas late tonight. Go Spurs Go!
