Kawhi Leonard spotted in NYC … wearing Spurs gear

Make of this what you will.

Kawhi Leonard is in New York for rehab. We’ve known this for a while. And since the Spurs were bounced from the playoffs, there have been a steady stream of noise from “NBA sources” about how Kawhi might be interested in this, or wants Pop to do that — you know, the kind of thing they call rampant speculation.

So, in such an environment, a video has been posted to YouTube, and the Spurs sub on Reddit, by a fan who bumped into Leonard yesterday. The video has the feel of Sasquatch footage, but a couple of frames are clear enough to confirm that, a) it is indeed Kawhi, and b) he’s wearing Spurs shorts and socks.
