No timetable has been given for his return.

The Spurs have announced that Jakob Poeltl is expected to miss time after an MRI revealed he suffered a sprained MCL in Saturday night’s victory over the Orlando Magic. A timeline for his return has not been given.

The injury occurred in the fourth minute of the game after he banged knees with Markelle Fultz while setting a screen. With LaMarcus Aldridge already out nursing a sore shoulder, Rudy Gay and Drew Eubanks shouldered the load at center for the rest of the evening.

Poeltl has averaged 5.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 16.6 minutes this season. He will be a restricted free agent this summer, meaning the Spurs can give him a qualifying offer and have the opportunity to match any other offer that comes his way.
