Jaguars Cut Kyle Sloter, Bring Back Familiar Face

It seems Kyle Sloter didn’t do enough to impress at the Hall of Fame Game. The sixth year veteran was released by the Jaguars on Tuesday after completing 13 of 25 passes, for 127 yards and one touchdown. Sloter was signed by Jacksonville on the back of an impressive season in the USFL with the New Orleans Breakers.

He is replaced on the roster by a familiar face. EJ Perry, who the Jags signed shortly after the NFL Draft, is back on the team. He agreed to a one year deal to return to Duval County, as per Adam Schefter:
