Colts interim HC Jeff Saturday recently bashed team he’ll face in debut

As the saying goes, the internet never forgets.

Jeff Saturday was named as the interim head coach of the Indianapolis Colts on Monday, and upon a quick search through his recent tweets, fans will find something ironic from Oct. 30.

While the Colts have struggled to a 3-5-1 record this season, the Las Vegas Raiders have been arguably worse. The Raiders were shut out in Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints (when Saturday posted the tweet) and blew a double-digit lead in Week 9 to fall to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Stumbling on a three-game losing streak, Indianapolis will travel to face Las Vegas (2-6), who has lost two in a row and are 0-5 on the road. Of course, prior to being named the interim head coach, Saturday was working as an analyst for ESPN, so the simple tweet didn’t seem to mean much at the time.

We’ll see if anybody in the Raiders’ locker room gets ahold the former All-Pro center’s message from eight days ago, and if the team tries to use it as bulletin board material.
