Chelsea have entered into discussions with Brentford winger Said Benrahma, according to reports.

Frank Lampard is said to be leading the race to the 24-year-old’s signature, ahead of Premier League rivals Arsenal and Leicester.

Benrahma, has featured in 34 of Brentford’s 37 Championship games this season and has scored 10 times.

The former Nice winger, who has a deal until the summer of 2022, has also earned three senior caps for the Algerian national team.

It is believed that Lampard is looking to reinforce his squad this summer with veteran duo Willian and Pedro likely to leave Stamford Bridge in the coming months.

The pair’s contracts run out at the end of this month and both have attracted interest from other Premier League clubs and European sides.

Willian has been linked with a move to Tottenham and Arsenal, while Pedro has received interest from Roma and Valencia.
