Cameron Boozer balled out in his second NBA game as he willed the Memphis Grizzlies to a comeback win over the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.
Boozer started the rookie campaign of his budding career with the Grizzlies. Following an incredible collegiate career at Duke, Boozer embraces the professional level as he follows in his father Carlos’ footsteps into NBA stardom.
Memphis is going through a rebuilding period after moving on from Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ja Morant last season. Boozer looks to be a pivotal piece in helping the franchise return to greener pastures, seeing him as a cornerstone to their success.
He showed his potential with a great performance in Memphis’ road clash with Golden State. In 37 minutes of action, he finished with a stat line of 25 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, and two steals. He shot 6-of-13 from the field, including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, and 9-of-9 from the free-throw line.
