Bexar County Fire is investigating a “suspicious” blaze after a far West Side home was completely destroyed, officials said.
Crews were called out the the 6800 block of Calle Fincias just before 10 p.m. and when firefighters arrived, the house was already fully engulfed. Within 15 minutes, the structure had completely burned to the ground and crews had to fight to keep the fire contained to just that property.

Officials said they feared for a nearby mobile home, but were able to stop any extension.
The Bexar County Fire Marshal was called out to investigate.
