Another Kawhi Leonard commercial: Re2pect Above All

Another great commercial featuring Kawhi! That’s the second one this summer. What’s going on?

Earlier this summer, Jordan Brand released a commercial , The Kawhi Question, that asked the question, “Could Kawhi get buckets on Kawhi?” It was amazine and could end up being the “It’s gotta be the shoes” of Kawhi Leonard’s career.

After six years with the Spurs, and three with Jordan, finally getting a good commercial was cool. Then Re2pect above all dropped yesterday and I’m thinking it’s possible that Nike may have bumped Leonard in their strategy, assigning their top flight creative talent to market him.

I wonder if it has something to do with him being the frontrunner for the league MVP next year. Whatever it is, it’s hard to imagine a more Kawhi commercial than this one. Re2pect above all.
