NBA legend Charles Barkley gets completely fooled on epic edition of ‘Who He Play For?’

Charles Barkley has had his share of rough nights playing “Who He Play For?” on “Inside the NBA,” but his latest attempt might top them all.

The segment tests Barkley on where lesser-known NBA players are currently suiting up. This time around, the crew gave him five names, and he whiffed on every single one in the first round.

Barkley started by guessing the Charlotte Hornets for Mo Wagner, who is now with the Brooklyn Nets. He then picked the Milwaukee Bucks for Buddy Hield, who plays for the Chicago Bulls.

The misses kept coming. Barkley went with the Memphis Grizzlies for Taurean Prince, the Indiana Pacers for Mo Bamba and the Portland Trail Blazers for Aaron Wiggins. Prince is with the Detroit Pistons, Bamba is with the Utah Jazz and Wiggins is with the Atlanta Hawks.

Barkley even struggled with the bonus question. Former NBA veteran Garrett Temple had personally told him to get his answer right this year. Barkley knew Temple was coaching, but that was as far as he got.

The Hall of Famer defended himself by pointing out how early it is in the season.

“I think the game is unfair to do it this early. I haven’t seen any of these teams. We’ve only played three nights,” Barkley said.

That is where things got even funnier. The crew decided to run it back immediately, giving Barkley the same five players and the answers he had just heard.

He still could not get them all. Barkley mixed up the teams again, at one point guessing the Detroit Pistons for Wiggins and later the Chicago Bulls.

The crew had them go through the list a third time. Barkley finally nailed a few, including Wagner with the Nets and Bamba with the Jazz, but the damage was done.

The rest of the “Inside the NBA” crew did not let him off the hook. One host told Barkley he had “zero retention,” while the group joked about his Auburn education.

Barkley had only one explanation for the meltdown. “I got a lot going on, man,” he said.

Fans online quickly called it one of the best editions of the segment ever, and it is hard to argue with them.
