Playing basketball is one small facet of this extraordinary man’s personae.

The San Antonio Spurs posted a short video biography of Patty Mills.

Quite a nice tribute with just days until Patty celebrates the release of his new collaborative clothing line which has been dubbed Indigenous Night.

As you may recall, Patty teamed up with Tap Pilam Coahuiltecan Nation to design a limited edition clothing line celebrating the American Indian culture of San Antonio.

The line includes tee shirts, baseball caps, and sweatshirts, all of which will be on sale at the AT&T Center starting Sunday when the Spurs seek retribution against the Miami Heat. Additionally, the first 10,000 people at that game will receive a bobblehead in the likeness of Patrick Sammy James Mills.

[Before Sunday’s game, my band The Gunslingers are performing Saturday night at Sam’s Burger Joint supporting my favorite guitarist Monte Montgomery. If you have never seen Monte play live, it is a must. You can read about his latest album here.]
