Manchester City will kick off the 2023-24 Premier League season and will face Vincent Kompany’s Burnley. 

The Clarets earned promotion to England’s top division last season after winning the Championship.

Guardiola’s side come into the game off the back of a penalty shootout defeat to Arsenal in the Community Shield.

Lionel Messi is back in action with Inter Miami as they look to progress through to the semi-finals of the Leagues Cup when they face Charlotte.

The Argentinian scored twice in Miami’s win over FC Dallas in the round of 16 stage, while Charlotte defeated Houston Dynamo.

Messi is enjoying life at his new club and has already scored seven goals in his first four games.
