WR Keelan Cole signing one-year deal with Raiders

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, free-agent wide receiver Keelan Cole has agreed to a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders

The 29-year-old wideout spent last season with the New York Jets after agreeing to a one-year, $5.5 million contract. He played in 15 games, starting 11, averaging 16.0 yards per reception, finishing with 28 catches for 449 yards and a touchdown.

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed Cole as an undrafted free agent out of Kentucky Wesleyan College in 2017. Cole was second in the NFL in yards per reception (17.8) during his rookie season, finishing with 42 receptions for 748 yards and three touchdowns. 

In four seasons in Jacksonville, Cole played in 64 games, starting 23. He finished with 159 receptions, averaging 14.1 yards per catch for 2,242 yards and 12 touchdowns. 

Over five seasons with the Jaguars and Jets, Cole has played in 79 games, compiling 187 receptions for 2,691 yards and 13 touchdowns. 

Cole joins a wide receiver group in Las Vegas that includes Hunter Renfrow, Mack Hollins, Bryan Edwards, Demarcus Robinson and big offseason acquisition Davante Adams.
