How Good Will Dak Prescott Be This Year?

Many people were skeptical about how Prescott would perform a year after his almost career-ending injury. No one was sure if he would ever be able to walk again, let alone play professional football at the highest level. Prescott silenced his critics and went on to have his best year in a Cowboys uniform so far. He threw for 4,449 yards, 37 touchdowns, and only 10 interceptions while leading the Cowboys to a division title.

Dak Prescott has proved that his leg is fine and he is ready to compete with the best. If he puts up another season like last years, the Cowboys are going to be very successful and will be competing for a Super Bowl. After not being in the Super Bowl since 1995, Prescott is ready to lead this team and give these loyal fans what they deserve.

After the departure of Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns, the Cowboys have upgraded Ceedee Lamb to WR1. Therefore, he will be receiving more targets which will come with more yards and touchdowns. After seeing what he did at Oklahoma in his college days, we can clearly see Lamb is a player who thrives under pressure.  Ceedee Lamb has the potential to be one of the best wide receivers in the league and with the way that Dak has been playing, he’ll be lighting up the stat sheets.

Will The Cowboys Defense be as Effective as Last Year?

The Cowboys defense was one of the most exciting in the league to watch last year. Rookie Micah Parsons and second year Trevon Diggs proved to be leaders even with little experience in the league. Parsons proved to be one of the best linebackers in the league, while Diggs led the league in interceptions. With these two players adding another year of experience, this defense has the potential to dominate in this league. Some of their success has come from Defensive End, Demarcus Lawrence causing mayhem in the oppositions backfield.

How Will the Cowboys Finish in 2022

The Dallas Cowboys should expect nothing less than another NFC East Championship. If they finish with anything less than that, there are going to be some serious questions revolving their organization. With this talented of a squad, I believe the Cowboys will make a serious run in the playoffs this year and reward their loyal fans with an overdue championship. Both sides of the ball are electric and are going to be a force to reckon with across this league.
