What will be the biggest concerns in 2023 for the Cowboys?

It feels like just last week the NFL Playoffs were underway, and we were watching the Dallas Cowboys destroy Quarterback Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Now, we are nearing the next NFL Draft. Time has been flying lately, which means the Cowboys need to figure out what changes need to be made, and fast.

While quite a lot of changes have already been made to the Dallas Cowboys over the last two months, there are still questions and concerns that linger with the team.

Going into next season, what are the biggest concerns that the Cowboys staff should be worried about?

Defensive Stability:

For the last two seasons, the Cowboys have had one of the best defenses in the NFL, thanks to Defensive Coordinator Dan Quinn and many of our talented players.

Something that fans should be cautious of is the decline of our defense

This defense can win a Super Bowl, so the Cowboys can’t afford to waste this special talent and phase. The mission to keep this skillful defense alive needs to start now, for the Cowboys must keep the defense stable and consistent for next season.

Quarterback Problems:

Time won’t be spent for a long period of time on this, as stated in other posts about all the vital improvements that Quarterback Dak Prescott needs to make before next season.

This isn’t about Prescott though, for the Dallas Cowboys need to make a solid decision on whether or not they will be sticking with Dak Prescott next season.

The Cowboys may be awaiting for the draft to see if there are any well-available quarterbacks still on the market, but the future is unclear at this time.

I am sure they have a plan in store, but as a fan, this is a very concerning issue.

Wide Receiver Shortage:

Last season the Dallas Cowboys were very short on wide receivers early on. It wasn’t until T. Y. Hilton came onto the team that we really started to get going with passes.
